A seated figure in profile, knees drawn in, weight settled against the ground. The flesh reads with precision — jawline, shoulder blade, folded hands — while across the entire body a second layer moves: filaments of pale gold, loose and massing, neither fabric nor smoke but closer to a field of forces made visible.
The two states do not merge. The body holds its density; the gold holds its motion. They occupy the same space without resolving into one another, the figure legible only where the filaments thin. What the image refuses to decide is whether the gold is arriving or leaving — and that refusal is structural, not decorative.

Artist
SaintPixel is an art project created by Mikael Gueguen, who was born in France in the 1970s. He trained in applied arts and fine arts, including a two-year apprenticeship in decorative painting (wood and marble finishes, large-scale scenic designs, and trompe l'œil). An IT entrepreneur in the 2000s, he returned to artistic and manual practice, working today at the intersection of traditional media and generative AI.
