A figure pulled inward — knees drawn to chest, head dropped forward, one arm folded beneath the chin. The surface reads as carved stone mapped with fine engraved lines, cracked along the skull and across the shoulders. Behind it, a large dark circle holds the body without enclosing it. Geometric planes of ochre, terracotta, and cracked white divide the ground into compressed architectural zones. The engraved lines that describe musculature and volume do not soften the figure — they formalize it, pressing it toward the condition of a relief rather than a body in space. The posture is not collapse. It is consolidation: mass gathering into itself, weight distributed down and inward. The geometric ground does not frame this — it participates in the same logic of containment, pressing in from every edge without touching.
