A figure runs in profile across a bare tan wall, above a pale floor. Ivory flesh, cracked and flecked, covers the legs and torso. A blue face with horns and black hair leads the stride. The back unwinds into concentric black bands and holes, trailing blue streaks.
The legs are the hand's anatomy: weight, tendon, a knee drawn with a pressure no catalogue body has. Higher up, the pull toward a recognisable runner gave way. The back turned into a spiral shell, and the head into a second creature. What stands there exists only where the two collided.
The eye leaves the face and follows the blue streaks backwards, then comes back to the planted toes. The speed never settles. Each day the spiral on the back reads as armour, as wake, as a wound, and none of these closes.
