Returnsconditions
A torso turns slightly inward, head smooth and featureless — plaster-white, sealed. Below it, the body opens into competing planes: deep crimson tissue at the throat, grey-green limbs that belong to a different figure, a white-gloved hand pressed against the chest from inside. Fine gold threads cross the surface without connecting anything.
Each plane holds its own material logic — paint, skin, anatomy diagram, architectural fragment — and none yields to the others. The silhouette is legible; what it contains is not. Corps presents the body as a site where several states of the same form have been overlaid without resolution, and the seams between them hold.
