A torso, headless, turned three-quarters from the viewer. The upper body holds its volume — breast, shoulder, collarbone — while below the waist the form loosens, pelvis and hip dissolving into orange and teal that press against the figure from the right. The skin reads as the lightest layer of a surface that has deeper colours beneath it. The outline doubles itself: a second contour, darker and cooler, trails the body without following it exactly. Body and ground do not meet — they overlap, each leaving residue on the other. What draws the eye is not the figure's volume but the places where that volume begins to give way.
