A figure drawn into itself — head bowed, knees gathered, the whole mass contracting toward a center that does not show. Fine hatched lines layer over the form like sediment: not drawn on the surface but built from it, accumulating into volumes of deep teal and absolute black. Where the lines thin, amber and copper burn through from underneath. The body here is not posed — it has settled under its own density. The hatching that constructs it also dissolves its edges, so the figure both consolidates and disperses at its own boundary. What the image holds without resolving is this: matter folding inward, and the lines that describe it doing the same.
