Three vertical panels, three figures in profile, each chin raised toward the same absent point. The faces are pale, resolved, almost porcelain — set against bodies that unravel downward in dense filaments of dark fibre, layered cloth, and exposed wood-grain flesh. Fine threads escape the forms and drift across the pale ground like cut sutures. Each panel isolates a state rather than a figure. The split is not compositional — it is material: where the face holds, the body loses coherence, strand by strand. Nothing here collapses dramatically. The unravelling is slow, structural, and identical across all three — which is what makes it exact rather than expressive.
