A figure in profile, chin lifted, spine arched back. From the skull down through the shoulders and arms, the surface is white plaster — cracked along lines that run like dried capillaries across the skin. Below the waist, that white dissolves into red: not fabric, not blood, but diffusion — colour spreading upward into the body from below, uncontained. Four thin red lines descend from above, vertical, taut. They do not attach to anything visible. The cracked white and the rising red occupy the same body without reconciling. One state is hardening; the other is releasing. The image holds both without deciding which direction is the movement.
