Above the shoulders, sheets of pale material — neither fabric nor skin — fold outward and upward, displacing the head without concealing it. The face tilts back, eyes closed, lips parted. A single plane of deep red interrupts the upper structure.
The figure is wrapped and constrained by the same material that crowns it. Fine hatched lines score every surface — cloth, throat, hand — flattening the body toward diagram without releasing it from weight. The image holds two incompatible states: something folded into stillness, and something on the edge of unfolding. Neither completes.

Artist
SaintPixel is an art project created by Mikael Gueguen, who was born in France in the 1970s. He trained in applied arts and fine arts, including a two-year apprenticeship in decorative painting (wood and marble finishes, large-scale scenic designs, and trompe l'œil). An IT entrepreneur in the 2000s, he returned to artistic and manual practice, working today at the intersection of traditional media and generative AI.
