A figure folded inward — knees drawn up, head bowed, one arm crossed beneath the chin. The skull carries the texture of fine feather or scored line-work, dark at the crown, burnt orange at the temple. Where the spine curves, teal and black ink pool beneath translucent skin, visible the way organs are visible through glass.
The body is simultaneously envelope and interior. What runs through it — teal wash, copper seep, dark accumulation at the joints — reads not as decoration but as content: matter held under pressure, shifting toward the surface. The figure is entirely closed, entirely self-contained, and entirely permeable. Nothing escapes; nothing stays put.

Artist
SaintPixel is an art project created by Mikael Gueguen, who was born in France in the 1970s. He trained in applied arts and fine arts, including a two-year apprenticeship in decorative painting (wood and marble finishes, large-scale scenic designs, and trompe l'œil). An IT entrepreneur in the 2000s, he returned to artistic and manual practice, working today at the intersection of traditional media and generative AI.
