A figure mid-extension: one arm reaching, one leg pushing back, weight distributed across a diagonal that cuts the pale ground from upper left to lower right. The body is built from faceted planes — teal, sage, bone white — assembled like shards of coloured glass or mineral cleavage, held in rough proximity rather than fusion. Thin construction lines cross the figure indifferently, remnants of the structure beneath. At the lower edge, fragments have already left the body: small pieces of the same material, scattered, no longer part of the whole. What reads as movement is also dispersal. The figure reaches and releases simultaneously. Neither state cancels the other — the image holds both without choosing between them.
